Version 2026-09-25 · Technocrat Nigeria, No 17, Kodesho Street, Ikeja, Lagos

These are the terms for buying from Technocrat online and at our store. They explain how we work. They don't take away any right Nigerian consumer law gives you, and where the law gives you more, the law applies.

01Ordering and prices

Check the product name, specification and quantity before you order, and ask us first if compatibility matters for what you plan to do with it. Putting an item in your cart doesn't hold it for you.

Prices follow the market and can change. Checkout checks prices and stock again before you pay. If a price changed, it tells you which item changed and asks you to confirm the new total.

The checkout total covers the goods and any tax shown. It doesn't include delivery. For delivery orders we phone you with the delivery fee before dispatch, and you pay it separately.

If we find a clear error in a price or listing after you order, we contact you before going further. You can then accept the corrected order or cancel it and get your money back.

02Paying for your order

At checkout you pay online through Miden, our payment provider, or by bank transfer to one of the accounts shown on the payment step. Pay only into an account checkout shows you. We never ask for card details, PINs, passwords or one-time codes by phone, email or chat. If someone asks for them in our name, tell us.

When you pay online, checkout places your order and sends you to Miden's payment page. You enter your payment details there, not on our site, so we never see them. The order counts as paid once Miden confirms the payment. If the payment doesn't go through, the order stays unpaid, its page lets you pay again, and we don't prepare or dispatch it until it's paid.

For a bank transfer:

Transfer the exact total and use your phone number as the narration. Then upload a screenshot of the receipt. Your order is created only when you submit the receipt, so leaving checkout before then creates nothing.

A receipt shows you sent a payment. It doesn't show the money reached us. Our staff check each receipt against our bank statement, usually within business hours, before treating the order as paid. If we can't match it, your order page says so and you can upload a clearer receipt.

If you pay too much or pay twice, we refund the extra to the account it came from.

03Delivery and pickup

We deliver across Nigeria. Lagos orders usually arrive within 1 to 2 working days after payment is confirmed. Other states take longer. Delivery dates are estimates unless we agree a fixed date with you. Give us a complete address and a phone number someone will answer, and make sure someone can receive the goods.

To collect instead, choose Pick up at checkout. Collection is at No 17, Kodesho Street, Ikeja, Lagos (Mon to Wed and Fri 9am to 6pm, Thu 10am to 6pm, Sat 10am to 4pm). We text you when the order is ready. Bring your order number. We may ask for identification before we release the goods.

Check the package and product as soon as you get them. Report anything missing, damaged or wrong quickly, and keep the packaging and photos. Signing for a delivery doesn't stop you raising a fault you find later.

04Pre-order items

Some items are marked “Available to pre-order”. We source these after you order, so they aren't in stock when you pay. After you order, we tell you when to expect the item. If that wait doesn't suit you, you can cancel and get a full refund. If we can't get the item, we refund what you paid.

05Cancelling an order

To cancel, contact us with your order number as soon as you can. We can usually stop an order before it leaves our store. Once it has been dispatched, it counts as a return.

We may cancel an order if the item is unavailable, a price or listing was clearly wrong, we can't confirm your payment, or we can't deliver to your address. If we cancel after confirming your payment, we refund the full amount.

06Returns and refunds

Tell us within a reasonable time if a product is faulty, unsafe, not as described, or not what you ordered. We will repair it, replace it or refund you, as Nigerian law requires.

Keep the product, accessories, packaging, serial labels and proof of purchase so we can inspect them. We don't have to accept a change-of-mind return for a correct, working product, especially one that's opened, activated, installed or damaged after delivery. That doesn't limit any return the law requires.

Refunds go back to the bank account you paid from. We tell you when we send one. If it's delayed at the bank, we help you trace it.

07Warranty

Where a product's listing or invoice says it has a manufacturer warranty, that warranty applies. Its length and exclusions depend on the manufacturer. Bring or send the product to us and we handle the claim with the manufacturer or supplier for you. A warranty is extra to your rights under consumer law, not a replacement for them.

Back up your data before you hand over a device for inspection or repair. Diagnostic work or a manufacturer repair can erase it. We look at your files only as far as testing the device needs.

08Installation and business orders

Installation by our engineers, bulk orders and business supply are agreed separately with a written quote covering scope, price, timing and payment. Ask for one through our contact page. A quote doesn't reserve stock unless it says so. Where a quote and this policy disagree, the quote applies, except where consumer law says otherwise.

09Your account

You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your Technocrat account. Give accurate contact and delivery details, and never upload a receipt for a payment you didn't make.

Receipts and messages you send us stay yours. You allow us to store and use them to process your order, confirm payments, answer you and prevent fraud.

10Privacy

Technocrat Nigeria, No 17, Kodesho Street, Ikeja, Lagos, is responsible for the personal data described here. We use your name, email address and profile photo from Google, your phone number and addresses, your orders, payment receipts and the messages you send us. We use them to run your account, fulfil and deliver orders, confirm payments, answer you, keep the store secure, and meet our legal duties.

We share data only with the services that do this work for us: Google for sign-in, our hosting and storage providers, our email provider, and whoever delivers your order, who gets only the address and phone number on it. Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria, under protections the law requires. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Our site analytics count visits without cookies.

We keep order, payment and tax records for as long as the law requires, and other data only while we need it. The cookies we use are listed in our cookie policy.
